Yandex Direct Skill for Codex and AI agents
An open Agent Skill for understanding, planning, and auditing advertising in Yandex Direct (Яндекс Директ). It covers account and campaign structure, Unified Performance Campaigns (ЕПК), Search, Yandex Advertising Network (РСЯ/YAN), Maps, keywords, negative phrases, autotargeting, audiences, ad composition, moderation, strategies, budgets, Yandex Metrica goals, reports, experiments, and optimization.
The skill is intentionally read-only. It does not connect to the Yandex Direct API and cannot change, launch, pause, or fund campaigns.
Why this exists
Yandex Direct differs materially from Google Ads. This skill prevents common category errors such as treating Direct operators as Google match types, treating keywords as exact queries, confusing phone clicks with calls, comparing Search and YAN by CTR alone, or recommending automated strategies before conversion measurement is trustworthy.
It uses progressive disclosure: a compact SKILL.md routes the agent to focused references, so the full manual is not loaded for every request.
